About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about shaping how organizations make smart, strategic technology investments? This role places you at the center of enterprise-wide technology sourcing, partnering with business and IT leaders to drive meaningful outcomes. As an IT Sourcing Specialist, you will lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives for IT services, software, cloud solutions, and technology platforms that support organizational growth and innovation.

You will join a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your expertise in procurement strategy, vendor management, and contract negotiation is not only valued but highly visible. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will translate business needs into effective commercial outcomes while promoting procurement best practices across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end IT sourcing and contracting activities across SaaS, cloud, hardware, and consulting services.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and manage RFx processes for medium- to high-complexity initiatives.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, SLAs, and commercial conditions to drive value and mitigate risk.
  • Partner closely with legal, compliance, privacy, and security teams to support contract drafting and execution.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement within the procurement function.
  • Provide mentorship and subject matter support to junior team members.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT procurement or sourcing role.
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of IT procurement processes, technologies, and service categories.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and highly accountable.
  • SCMP or CSCMP designation is considered an asset.
