Agilus is recruiting for a Field HSE Advisor in the Industrial Sector in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The Field HSE Advisor will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a safe work environment across our projects. This position ensures compliance with company safety programs and client requirements, while providing practical guidance to site personnel to reduce risks and hazards. Total rewards: $90000.00 - $105000.00 annually RRSP Matching up to 4% 4 Flex days 15 Vacation days Health & Dental Benefits Truck allowance and/or fuel card A typical day: Advise employees and contractors on safety procedures and communicate updates on regulations and requirements Conduct site orientations for staff, subcontractors, visitors, and client representatives Lead Safety meetings, emergency drills, and perform regular site inspections, audits and hazard assessments Work closely with project teams to address and resolve safety concerns, incidents, and inspection findings promptly Participate in planning meetings to ensure safety and environmental measures are in place before project startup Provide onsite support for high risk or environmentally sensitive activities Develop and implement site specific emergency response plans and conduct mock drills Support incident investigations and reporting including transportation of injured workers when necessary Successful candidates will have: Post secondary certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent experience (typically 3-5 years in a similar role) NSCO designation considered an asset Valid Certifications: H2S Alive, First Aid (Level C CPR & AED), CSTS, and CSO Class 5 License with clean abstract Must live in Grande Prairie area This posting is for an active opening.
