Salary: $34.22 to $38.67 per hour (We also offer an attractive compensation plan, which may include relocation assistance, allowances for isolated positions, and/or a premium for supervisory responsibilities. Eligibility varies by position and location.)

• Candidates who qualify based on a valid Technical Qualification Level (QL) 5 (minimum) in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) as industrial mechanic or refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic (HVAC) or Petroleum Production Technician; may be required to obtain and maintain a valid provincial or territorial journeyperson certificate of qualification at the time of appointment.

EDUCATION
Water, Fuel and Environment Technician
• A secondary school diploma;
OR
• Possession of a valid Technical Qualification Level (QL) 5 or Developmental Period (DP) 2 in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in a Water, Fuel and Environment Technician.
Electrical Generation Systems Technician
• A secondary school diploma;
OR
• Possession of a valid Technical Qualification Level (QL) 5 or Developmental Period (DP) 2 in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) in an Electrical Generating Systems Trade.

ESSENTIAL OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATION
Industrial Mechanic, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (HVAC)
• Possession of a valid provincial or territorial journeyperson certificate of qualification as an industrial mechanic or refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic (HVAC);
OR
• Possession of a valid certificate accepted by the provincial or territorial governing body as an equivalent as an industrial mechanic or refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic (HVAC);
OR
• Possession of a valid Technical Qualification Level (QL) 5 or Developmental Period (DP) 2 in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) an industrial mechanic or refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic (HVAC).
Petroleum Production Technician
• Possession of a valid Petroleum Mechanics Helper or higher (PMH, PM1, PM2, PM3) under the Canadian Petroleum Contractors Association standard;
OR
• An equivalent certification recognized by the provincial or territorial authority for petroleum equipment installation and service;
OR
• Possession of a valid Technical Qualification Level (QL) 5 or Developmental Period (DP) 2 in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) a Petroleum Production Technician.
EXPERIENCES ESSENTIELLES
Industrial Mechanic
• Experience in the operation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
Refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic (HVAC)
• Experience in the operation, inspection, maintenance, repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration equipment in commercial or industrial settings.
Water, Fuel and Environment Technician
• Experience in the operation, maintenance or repair of water or wastewater systems and related equipment, such as pumps, compressors, motorized values, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and process analyzers.
Electrical Generation Systems Technician
• Experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical generating systems ranging from 2KW to 1.7 MW including diesel, gas, liquefied petroleum (LP) engines, electrical control boards, transfer switches or load banks.
Petroleum Production Technician
• Experience in the operations of an industrial plant systems, including troubleshooting, performing first-line maintenance and repairs, and scheduling preventive maintenance programs.

Asset Occupational Certification
• Possession of a valid Red Seal designation as an Industrial Mechanic (millwright) or Refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic (HVAC).
• Possession of a certified generator technician program from a major manufacturer.
• Possession of any of the following occupational licenses and/or certifications:
- Aerial Lift Certification
- Confined Space Entry Training
- Electrical Generating Journeyperson Certification
- Electrical Generation Systems Association (EGSA) Certification
- Fall Arrest Training
- Fire Safety Training
- Lockout/Tagout Training
