Real Estate Services at Bell Canada is widely recognized throughout the industry for its ability to manage the entire BCE and Bell real estate portfolio, which covers over 3000 buildings in Canada and the United States. Our mission is to provide a safe work environment to employees, to ensure the reliability of the telecommunications network and to provide value-added services.

The Performance Management team of Real Estate Services is currently comprised of ten members, experts in the performance management, and the control of operating costs and capital expenditures. We are looking for a candidate to assist in maximizing Real Estate Services’ efficiency and performance. This would be a great opportunity to refine your accounting and management skills, get acquainted with Real Estate and grow within the company

Key Responsibilities

  • Support capital management by approving and reviewing projects with their related backup documentations and ensure project costs are adequately categorized under capital/expense/removal
  • Consolidate data and perform variance analysis
  • Review and update business processes
  • Assist in tracking, reporting and analyzing departmental budgets and forecasts for managers to identify any potential issues and recommend viable solutions
  • Assist in ad hoc audits of service provider
  • Special projects, as needed (i.e. PowerPoint presentations)

Critical Qualifications

  

  • Minimum 20 hours per week 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented
  • Proficient with numbers
  • Post-Secondary studies in Finance, Business Administration or related fields
  • Bilingual (French and English), written and spoken; In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
