Who we're looking for:

Rogers is seeking Sr. Cyber Security Advisor to join our team and play a critical role in strengthening platform reliability and security across our technology ecosystem. In this position, you will lead initiatives to enhance operational patterns, processes, and procedures, ensuring our platforms maintain the highest standards of resiliency and readiness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence, support cybersecurity objectives, and deliver actionable insights through KPIs and reporting.

 

What you'll do:

  • Develop new operational patterns, processes, and procedures to improve support of PKI platform
  • Review existing processes and procedures to determine platform’s resiliency posture
  • Assess and recommend augmentation of operational and business roadmap for the supported portfolio
  • Ensure procedural functions are completed on time and within scope
  • Design and execute resiliency exercises (table-top tests) to support change management and operational readiness
  • Liaise with various suppliers and internal technology, engineering, and other operation groups to satisfy day-to-day operational activities and project needs
  • Effectively communicate operational status, risks, and recommendations to a diverse audience from technical staff to senior leaders
  • Investigate root cause of failed systems/applications/services and develop short-term and long-term solutions
  • Develop and maintain operational KPIs for the PKI platform, provide regular and meaningful reporting
  • Assist junior and intermediate analysts with troubleshooting and provide coaching as required

 

What you bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
  • 5+ years of technology leadership in a diverse IT security environment.
  • 3+ years in supporting PKI technologies
  • Direct experience with managing server-based and SaaS/Cloud applications with focus on digital certificates and asymmetric cryptography.
  • Proven experience in authentication, encryption, and data integrity practices
  • Experience with information security, cyber security, privacy and awareness of regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to analyze complex security issues and provide pragmatic options and recommendations.
  • Strong business and technical acumen
  • Flexibility in managing multiple priorities in high pressure situations
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, achieve goals, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • CISSP, CCP, ECES, i2OC or similar certification and training is an asset.

 

Technical Expertise…

  • Proven hands-on experience with cryptography, especially in context of PKI
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SSL certificate administration
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps & Certificate Automation
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining Private Certificate Authorities
  • Understanding of Azure platform, specifically Microsoft Entra ID
  • Proficiency in O365 applications (Teams, Visio, Power Automate, PowerApps, Power BI)
  • Experience with data formats (JSON, YAML, XML).
  • Fundamental understanding of I/P/SaaS, Public & Private Cloud, Virtualization technologies.
  • Programing/Scripting knowledge in Java, Python or PowerShell an asset
