Summary

The Finance Analyst will be a key member of the Bell AI Powered Solutions Team, and will be reporting directly into the Senior Manager, Finance – AI Powered Solutions.  This role includes supporting the full end-to-end budgeting and reporting process, including forecasting and reporting on key projects for this business segment. The candidate will work closely with the business to uncover data points and evaluate progress on key projects and well as work with the related teams to stand-up net new product introductions from a billing and finance perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the business and peers to identify/validate key business assumptions and incorporate them into the results/forecast/budget
  • Build out financial, billing, reporting, and journaling frameworks for new initiatives and portfolios
  • Work closely with accounting teams and controller groups to develop and implement innovative financial solutions leveraging IFRS 16 and IFRS 15
  • Apply advanced financial modeling skills and leverage Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to interpret and present complex data
  • Demonstrate strong analytical abilities to extract meaningful insights and trends from diverse datasets
  • Support the organization through periods of change and growth, contributing to the launch and management of new portfolios
  • Maintain and enhance actuals, forecasting and reporting models through an in-depth understanding of the Business
  • Prepare financial results and forward-looking budget and forecast models for presentations to senior management

Critical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Business Analytics
  • A professional designation or working towards (i.e., CPA, CA, CMA or CGA) is an asset
  • Experience with accounting, particularly lease accounting, is considered a very strong asset
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical and analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Advanced business case experience is preferred; this role will work closely with strategy and value creation teams on large-scale capital business cases

 

 

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
