The Role
The Senior Manager, Business Architecture and Enablement will help bridges the gap between Canadian Banking strategy and operational execution. This role involves leading a team to leverage their curiosity to align departments and capabilities with strategic goals and developing models and documents like capability maps to guide transformation initiatives. This role involves extensive collaboration with business partners, technology and various teams across the bank.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
• Lead the development of domain-level transformation roadmaps aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Manage senior stakeholders within assigned business lines, ensuring alignment and buy-in for transformation priorities.
• Translate enterprise vision into future-state designs for people, process, technology, and data within each domain.
• Foster a curiosity mindset within the team to continuous improvement, process streamlining, and the adoption of new technologies.
• Govern the delivery of major initiatives, ensuring consistency with enterprise standards and minimizing duplication.
• Partner with technology and business leaders to enable execution and identify opportunities for rationalization and reuse.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant field or graduate degree (MBA)
• Minimum of 8 years relevant finance-related experience within a large organization or consulting background
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a team manager
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent PowerPoint skills; confident communicator, able to convey ideas clearly and gain buy in
• Demonstrated track record of driving key aspects of transformational projects
• Experience with business architecture frameworks and methodologies is a plus
• Experience building client journeys, processing mappings is a plus
• Program management experience is a plus
