GardaWorld Security is seeking an On-Call Security Guard to support operations at the Vale Long Harbour site. This is a unionized worksite and a designated Position of Trust, requiring a high level of professionalism, reliability, and flexibility.

Responsibilities for On-Call Security Guard

• Conduct vehicle searches.

• Work rotational 12-hour day and night shifts.

• Remain available for on-call coverage at various times, including last-minute calls.

• Must be willing to be available for work anytime – day or night.

• Stand or walk for extended periods when required.

• Provide professional, courteous service and work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications for On-Call Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract (must provide copy).
• Willingness to undergo a Drug and Alcohol Test if selected for interview.
• No criminal history; able to obtain a Certificate of Conduct (Court & Police).
• High school diploma required.
• Basic computer skills and strong written communication.
• Must wear the GardaWorld uniform.
• Completion of a Security Course is an asset.
