Job Title: AI Business Analyst (#: RQ09972)
Location: Toronto, ON, On-site, 5 days per week
Job Type: Contract, full-time hours
Compensation: $85–$95/hour

Join a provincial public sector team at the forefront of responsible AI adoption. You will translate real business objectives into practical AI strategies that improve services and decision making. Your work will shape vision, governance, and measurable outcomes for high-impact initiatives that matter to communities.
You will collaborate with policy, data, and delivery teams, guiding leaders through a clear roadmap. From executive-ready materials to KPI frameworks, you will help the organization move from ideas to value, safely and transparently.

Your Responsibilities
• You will clarify AI vision, purpose, and strategic direction, and produce executive-ready briefs and decks.
• You will define KPIs, benefits realization plans, and success measures for AI initiatives.
• In this role, you will design intake workflows, prioritization frameworks, and feedback loops to speed decisions.
• You will establish criteria to evaluate and rank AI use cases, aligned to risk, value, and readiness.
• You will partner with data, privacy, security, and policy teams to ensure compliance and quality.

Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of progressive BA or strategy experience, including AI or advanced analytics programs.
• Proven strength in executive facilitation, stakeholder alignment, and story-driven documentation.
• Data literacy to define requirements, assess quality, and address privacy and governance needs.
• Experience with Agile delivery, user stories, backlog grooming, and acceptance criteria for AI features.
• Nice to have, experience with public sector policy, vendor assessments, and readiness training.
