About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about shaping how organizations make smart, strategic technology investments? This role offers the opportunity to be at the center of enterprise-wide technology sourcing, partnering with business and IT leaders to drive outcomes that matter. You’ll lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives for IT services, software, and technology solutions that directly support business growth and innovation.

You will join a collaborative, forward-thinking public sector or financial services environment where your expertise in procurement strategy, vendor management, and contract negotiation will be valued and visible. Working alongside stakeholders at all levels, you’ll act as a trusted advisor who translates business needs into effective commercial outcomes while promoting best practices across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll handle end-to-end IT sourcing and contracting initiatives, including SaaS, cloud, hardware, and consulting services.
  • In this role, you’ll help with development of sourcing strategies and manage RFx processes for medium to high-complexity projects.
  • You’ll negotiate pricing, terms, SLAs, and commercial conditions with vendors to drive value and mitigate risk.
  • You’ll partner with legal, compliance, privacy, and security teams to support contract execution.
  • You’ll act as a trusted liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • You’ll identify cost-saving opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You’ll provide mentorship and subject matter guidance to junior team members.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in an IT procurement or sourcing role
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent professional experience
  • Working knowledge of IT procurement processes, technologies, and services
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player with a high sense of accountability
  • SCMP or CSCMP designation is considered an asset
