Our public-sector client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a range of enterprise initiatives focused on process redesign, business transformation, and technology enablement. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, excellent stakeholder facilitation skills, and proven experience delivering high-quality documentation and project deliverables.
You will collaborate with program teams, business stakeholders, technical SMEs, and project managers to define requirements, map current and future processes, support project planning, and contribute to change management activities across the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the analysis of business problems, opportunities, and process inefficiencies across departments.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements-gathering sessions.
Document current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) business processes using standard notation (e.g., BPMN).
Develop core project deliverables, including:
Detailed process maps
Process redesign recommendations
Project plans and timelines
Change management plans
Business requirements documents (BRDs)
Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional and non-functional requirements.
Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and solution design.
Contribute to organizational change management activities such as impact assessments, training documentation, and stakeholder communications.
Participate in testing support, validation, and solution readiness activities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and status updates for leadership.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 5 years of business analysis experience, preferably in public sector or complex enterprise environments.
Demonstrated expertise in process mapping, process redesign, and workflow optimization.
Experience developing project plans, work breakdown structures, and supporting PMO processes.
Strong understanding of change management frameworks and experience creating change plans.
Proven ability to lead workshops, gather and synthesize requirements, and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience supporting full SDLC projects across on-premise, cloud, or SaaS solutions.
Excellent communication skills—written documentation, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency with tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.
