Position Overview

Calian ITCS is currently seeking a Senior QA Test Automation Specialist to perform the following duties:

Responsibilities

• Review the security requirements traceability matrix (SRTM) and evidences
• Work in a dynamic Agile Scrum Team for the development of our Payment and Settlement Solution
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for a Single Page Application (SPA) built with Angular (frontend) and Spring Boot (backend).
• Work within an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams including product owners, developers, and other testers.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience with TypeScript, Playwright, and automated testing, especially in the context of complex financial applications.

• Clearance: Secret (mandatory)
• Language: English
• 3+ years of experience working in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to sprint activities such as planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Proven Experience in Test Automation: Strong experience in test automation for both frontend (Angular SPA) and backend (Spring Boot) applications.
• Expertise in TypeScript for writing and maintaining automated tests, along with experience using Playwright for E2E testing.
• Test Automation Tools: Expertise in Playwright for automating browser interactions, simulating user behavior, and testing dynamic SPA functionality.
• Familiar with testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG and Playwright
• Backend Testing: Ability to write and maintain API tests for Spring Boot microservices or RESTful APIs. Familiarity with tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or JUnit for API testing.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with Git for version control and integrating test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
• Strong Communication & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within an Agile Scrum team and communicate test results, concerns, and improvements to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Quality Focus: A strong focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements, with an understanding of how testing fits into the overall Agile workflow.
• Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) for evaluating transaction load and system scalability in a payment solution environment.
