Agilus is recruiting for a Material Handler, Packaging in the Micro-Electronics Industry in Ottawa, Ontario. Under general supervision, the Material Handler – Packaging carries out semi-routine tasks in support of the receiving and warehouse functions. The Material Handler generally works with clearly established procedures to perform responsibilities. A typical day: Delivering material to stockrooms; verifies and maintains First-In-First-Out policy. Unloads delivery vehicles and confirms, signs, and logs waybills. Examine shipments for damage and processes discrepancies. Verifies box counts, sorts and delivers receipts to the correct location. Maintains and updates policies and procedures, and trains others as required. Recommend process improvements. Replenishes raw material using a variety of established replenishment methods.
