Agilus is recruiting for a PLR Inspector in the Micro-Electronics Manufacturing in Ottawa, Ontario. Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls. Responsibilities: Conducts repetitive inspection of product/materials against known standards, procedures and checklists. Identifies and segregates non-conforming material. Reads assembly and process documentation. Contributes to identifying, articulating and escalating problems or issues for Technical Support or Engineering, and assists in gathering requested information and proof necessary to help establish the root cause of problems and determine corrective action. Properly executes on inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions.
