Agilus is recruiting for a Technical Lead in the insurance space in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. As a Tech Lead, you will serve as the solution designer for a high-impact digital program, overseeing the end-to-end technical delivery of web-based applications. You’ll lead large-scale initiatives within the Digital Channels domain, driving enhancements and new features for client-facing online services. This role demands strong leadership across program delivery, technical architecture, and hands-on development, particularly in Typescript, Angular, and NodeJS. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate multiple backend systems and ensure cohesive, scalable solution A typical day: Work with React and C# (nice to have). Own the technical leadership and architecture of the digital program. Design and deliver end-to-end solutions across web platforms. Lead large-scale initiatives, not just small teams. Guide development using Angular, NodeJS (BFF layer), and Typescript. Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex business problems. Ensure high-quality delivery of enhancements to client services. Successful candidates will have: Proven experience gathering documentation, and current state analysis experience Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Hands-on experience with Azure from an Operational perspective. Knowledge of data resiliency and infrastructure resiliency concepts. Application background and experience working with app teams is a plus.
