Altis is excited to partner with a client in Waterloo, ON to recruit a Business Continuity Coordinator for an immediate 3-month contract with the possibility of extension up to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and maintenance of the business continuity program, including business impact assessments, response plans, and recovery plan testing.
  • Track and report program issues; maintain contact lists and recovery tools.
  • Assist with privacy program activities, including monitoring incidents, updating repositories, and supporting Privacy Impact Assessments.
  • Participate in training and corporate awareness initiatives for business continuity and privacy.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure effective program compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or University degree.
  • 3+ years of professional administration experience, ideally with a familiarity with business continuity or risk management. 
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, detail-focused, and able to work independently.
