As a Healthcare Tactical Guard, physical readiness is also vital. You will be actively moving throughout your shift while securing dynamic environments such as hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other medical settings.
Conduct routine safety checks throughout the facility.
Support medical staff during high-risk or disruptive situations.
Escort patients, visitors, or valuables when required.
Enforce hospital policies and safety protocols.
Monitor entry points and crowd flow during busy periods.
Maintain strong visibility to deter unwanted behavior.
Provide clear, calm communication during emergencies.
Assist in evacuations or lockdown procedures when necessary.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Valid provincial security guard licence and FirstAid/CPR required
Strong situational awareness and observational skills
Ability to stand, walk, and remain mobile for the entire shift
Physically capable of responding quickly to incidents
Effective communication with patients, staff, and emergency responders
Comfortable working in high-stress, fast-paced medical environments
Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends)
Professional, calm, and respectful demeanor suitable for a healthcare setting
