Pre-Boarding Screening Officer – Job Description:

What does a Pre-Boarding Screening Officer do?

  • Screen passengers, non-passengers, and baggage

  • Control access to restricted areas

  • Interact with the public and provide professional, ethical customer service

  • Follow regulations and procedures while demonstrating critical thinking

 

 

What are the qualifications to become a Pre-Boarding Screening Officer?

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

  • Be 18 years of age or older

  • Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent)

  • Fluent in French, both spoken and written

  • Knowledge of English is an asset

  • Have at least one (1) year of customer service experience

  • Have a clear criminal record and be eligible to obtain a CIZR

  • Be able to obtain a medical certificate and meet the physical requirements of the position
