Our leading non profit client is looking for a Strategy Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month term. This role will be fully remote, however, the first day will be reporting onsite at their Toronto location.
The successful candidate will oversee and deliver a range of projects spanning various business areas and technologies from initiation through implementation, ensuring alignment with established project management methodologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle project management, maintaining quality standards and best practices in system integration, deployment, and testing.
Partner with project sponsors, business users, technology teams, and vendors to develop detailed project plans outlining scope, deliverables, goals, resource needs, timelines, and responsibilities. Support business case development, cost analysis, and budgeting.
Manage all aspects of project delivery, including resource planning, task coordination, documentation, progress reporting, budget tracking, and risk management. Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships across business and technology teams to ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Collaborate with external vendors to ensure project outcomes support organizational goals.
Lead change management initiatives, including user training, documentation, and post-deployment support to promote successful system adoption.
Evaluate project results, identify improvement opportunities, and apply lessons learned to future initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Project Management certification.
Minimum 7 years of progressive project management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
Proven success managing system integration and deployment projects in a business-technology-driven environment.
Proficiency with project management tools for tracking, reporting, and coordination.
