Ladysmith Animal Hospital has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Hospital Manager. Under the guidance of the Regional Director, the successful candidate will supervise and direct staff at an established and growing hospital, ensuring operational and service delivery.

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing leadership and development to a multifaceted team that delivers high-quality veterinary services to our patients and pet owners. The role will require strong organizational, administrative and people skills to meet hospital deadlines and related goals. Key responsibilities and attributes for this role are;

  • Experience supervising staff members in multi-faceted roles; delegate, motivate and coordinate.

  • Administrative skills: scheduling staff, document control, filing, various reporting and coordinating office services (equipment/supplies/forms/procedures)

  • Leadership skills: fostering people relationships, providing coaching opportunities,

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents and community

  • Adaptable; the ability to adapt to change in a growing, multifaceted client service and animal health industry

  • Change management: the ability to drive and manage positive change - processes, people and growth

Compensation: This is a part-time position, offering 20–30 hours per week, with an annual salary range of $20,000–$30,000.
