Job Title: Employee Engagement Coordinator (Moncton Contact Centre)

 

PURPOSE: 

Contributes to the overall success of Service & Sales in Canada by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. 

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

  • Lead the planning and execution of onsite engagement days, cultural celebrations, and incentive-based activities that foster a positive and inclusive workplace. 
  • Chair and coordinate the Engagement Committee, driving initiatives that support employee morale, recognition, and connection. 
  • Lead the Health & Safety Committee, ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards and promoting a safe environment. 
  • Collaborate with the Bilingual Recruiting and Engagement Manager to recruit and organize staff volunteers for community outreach and events. 
  • Develop internal communications and promotional materials to support engagement initiatives using digital and print media. 
  • Maintain and manage budgets for engagement activities, ensuring cost-effective execution and accurate reporting. 
  • Track participation, feedback, and outcomes of engagement initiatives to continuously improve programming. 
  • Source and manage incentive items, prizes, and recognition tools aligned with budget and employee preferences. 
  • Support quarterly and ad hoc offsite events for Contact Centre staff. 
  • Provide monthly recognition presentations and support broader recognition programs. 
  • Assist with planning and execution of large-scale events such as the Service & Sales Rally. 
  • Act as the lead for facilities-related items including coordination of deliveries, visitor tags, office supply orders, and other onsite logistics. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / OTHER INFORMATION: 

Education/Experience: 

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in event planning, communications, or HR. 

Specialized Knowledge: 

  • Bilingual in French & English is considered an asset. 
  • Familiarity with Tangerine’s culture, values, and employee engagement principles. 

Abilities: 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional employee engagement and committee leadership. 
  • Proven ability to learn and adapt to emerging tools and technologies. 

Attributes: 

  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Creative and resourceful with a passion for employee engagement. 
  • Comfortable leading committees and facilitating group discussions.
