The Training Academy (TA) promotes excellence through training and continual professional development by establishing training standards, and in partnership with stakeholders, facilitating the delivery of evidence-based curriculum. The TA is responsible for design, development and delivery of induction training programs to peace officers in Alberta.
In this position, you are responsible for a diverse portfolio that supports the application of best practice training methodologies in the development, design and delivery of high-quality training programs. This involves proactively developing and maintaining productive relationships and collaborative efforts within the Ministry and with partners to respond to evolving needs and addressing the complex challenges of delivering multiple training programs.
