This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing analytical precision with hands-on financial operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth accounting processes, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting leadership with timely insights.

About the role:
Title: Bookkeeper 
Start: Immediately
Work model: Hybrid - 2 days onsite/week at Yonge and Eglinton 

What you will do:

• Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and send client invoices, issue payments, and process vendor remittances
• Administer payroll, ensuring compliance and on-time delivery (including preparation of year-end slips such as T4s and T5s)
• Generate and file GST/HST returns and provide financial reports as needed
• Work closely with team members to gather and verify financial data
• Coordinate with external auditors and supply required documentation
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies
• Assist with general administrative duties related to financial recordkeeping

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounting roles 
• Advanced QuickBooks Online knowledge (minimum 3 years)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• Solid understanding of payroll processing and accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
