Our client in the non-profit sector is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team. This role offers three weeks of vacation, a full benefits package, and RRSP matching. The position is primarily remote, with in-office presence in North York required 1–2 times per month.
The Senior Data Analyst supports organizational operations and programs by generating evidence-based insights, preparing reports and dashboards, and providing data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
Roles and Responsibilities
Identify, collect, process, and analyze internal and external data across various organizational functions and programs.
Assess business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs.
Transform and visualize data to create comprehensive, replicable, and easily understandable information for non-technical audiences.
Perform both basic and complex analyses on quantitative and qualitative data to support policies and practices.
Generate actionable insights by analyzing complex datasets and identifying patterns, trends, and correlations.
Participate in the full product development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to handover, including hands-on development.
Develop business intelligence solutions using tools such as Salesforce and Power BI to ensure timely data visibility and support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support to optimize program performance.
Access and analyze data from multiple sources to provide clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 4 years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in a regulated or compliance environment.
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and SQL-based databases, including integrations with third-party software; SAP experience is an asset.
Proven experience with data analysis, data cleansing, data management, and data modeling.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Macros and VBA) and PowerPoint.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to create interactive dashboards and reports, including basic data engineering and semantic model building.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
