Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking a .NET Developer to provide REMOTE support through a full time contract, working with various sectors maintaining and developing software on current and future planned software development projects. 

This is a two-year, REMOTE (within Canada) contract, anticipated for a potential December/January start period. 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conducts research, analysis, development, testing and implementation of changes to the department's software solutions and services.
• Design, develop, test, implement and maintain software solutions on various technology platforms and supports quality assurance activities.
• Produces programming or test specifications, writes new or modifies existing code and produces technical documentation such as user guides and related documentation.
• Participates in the selection, installation, configuration, testing and development of software tools and ensures adherence to the department's programming, testing and development standards.
• Provides technical advice, application assistance and delivers training sessions to internal and external clients.
• Supports the development of departmental/agency work processes, standards and guidelines.
• Contribute to the creation of related product and project documentation artifacts and security assessments.

Qualifications / Skills

• Reliability Level Federal Government Clearance is required

• Must clearly demonstrate 120 months (10 years) of experience within a programmer/analyst role

• Must clearly demonstrate 60 months (5 years) of experience as a .NET Developer

• Must clearly demonstrate 96 months (8 years) of experience developing web applications, web service and/or microservice using .NET Framework

• Must clearly demonstrate 120 months (10 years) using SQL to perform CRUD operations on a RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

• Must clearly demonstrate 96 months (8 years) of experience developing web applications using Object/Relational Mapping and database persistence using .NET stack: Entity Framework, NHibernate, LINQ

• Must clearly demonstrate 96 months (8 years) of experience developing RESTful API or SOAP web services in .Net.

• Must clearly demonstrate 36 months (3 years) of experience working with Cloud Technologies such as: CI Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, AWS Cognito, etc

• Must clearly demonstrate 120 months (10 years) of experience developing web applications using Agile SDLC methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean or other methodologies.
