About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established organization within the Canadian insurance sector, is growing its commercial insurance sales team and is looking for motivated sales professionals eager to build a long-term career in insurance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales foundation who is excited to learn, develop and grow within a structured commercial insurance environment.

You will work alongside experienced insurance professionals who value mentorship, collaboration and relationship-building. This opportunity offers a clear entry point into the insurance industry, with training, licensing support and exposure to commercial clients across a range of industries, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys consultative sales and long-term client relationships.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll develop new business by identifying, prospecting and engaging commercial clients through outbound and inbound sales activities.

  • In this role, you’ll learn to assess client needs and recommend appropriate commercial insurance solutions.

  • You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on long-term retention and service excellence.

  • You’ll collaborate with internal underwriting and service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing account management.

  • You’ll consistently meet or exceed sales activity and performance targets while maintaining a client-first approach.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales, business development or customer-facing role.

  • Strong interest in building a career in the insurance industry, commercial insurance exposure is an asset but not required.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a consultative sales approach.

  • Ability to work in an on-site, team-based environment.
