Our client, a well-established organization within the Canadian insurance sector, is growing its commercial insurance sales team and is looking for motivated sales professionals eager to build a long-term career in insurance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales foundation who is excited to learn, develop and grow within a structured commercial insurance environment.
You will work alongside experienced insurance professionals who value mentorship, collaboration and relationship-building. This opportunity offers a clear entry point into the insurance industry, with training, licensing support and exposure to commercial clients across a range of industries, making it a strong fit for someone who enjoys consultative sales and long-term client relationships.
You will join a team that invests in training, development and long-term career growth. This role offers hands-on learning in commercial insurance, supported by experienced mentors who want to see you succeed. You will be part of a workplace that values curiosity, initiative and building meaningful client partnerships.
You’ll develop new business by identifying, prospecting and engaging commercial clients through outbound and inbound sales activities.
In this role, you’ll learn to assess client needs and recommend appropriate commercial insurance solutions.
You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on long-term retention and service excellence.
You’ll collaborate with internal underwriting and service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing account management.
You’ll consistently meet or exceed sales activity and performance targets while maintaining a client-first approach.
2+ years of experience in a sales, business development or customer-facing role.
Strong interest in building a career in the insurance industry, commercial insurance exposure is an asset but not required.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a consultative sales approach.
Ability to work in an on-site, team-based environment.
