Our federal government client requires a Systems Analyst/ Business Systems Analyst with expertise in SharePoint Online to design and configure content, automate tasks, assess and optimize site configurations, develop dashboards, all while delivering clear, high-impact operational documentation!
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver SharePoint and PnP PowerShell scripts with clear, comprehensive documentation.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) complete with code samples, user instructions, and training materials to support knowledge transfer.
Provide detailed execution and deployment validation reports, including logs and supporting evidence of successful implementation.
Ensure all deliverables align with the client’s standard Microsoft Office Suite environment and are adapted as needed for compatibility with the Government of Canada’s technology standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum ten (10) years’ experience as a Systems Analyst on IM/IT projects.
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Information/Cyber Security (proof required).
At least three (3) projects in the past ten (10) years involving requirements analysis, feasibility and options assessment, and systems design and implementation for large enterprises (2,000+ users), including one with Microsoft 365.
Demonstrated experience designing and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions—specifically Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online—with clear project summaries, timelines, and outcomes.
Proven ability to develop and implement system requirements, feasibility and cost analyses, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support organizational change for public sector Microsoft 365 initiatives.
