Overview
Our client is looking for a Data Scientist to help develop a Generative AI-powered segmentation tool that leverages user-level engagement data to personalize content experiences. The role focuses on designing, training, and validating AI models that enable intelligent audience targeting in digital media and marketing analytics contexts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a framework for training and validating Generative AI models.
Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve segmentation accuracy, explainability, and alignment with business goals.
Prepare, transform, and enrich user-level engagement data, ensuring input quality and reliability.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for model development and deployment.
Conduct technical audits, validate model performance, and refine statistical accuracy.
Analyze and iterate on proof-of-concept models to improve robustness and interpretability.
Translate behavioral and engagement data into meaningful features that reflect real-world user behavior.
Communicate model outputs and explainability results in clear, business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience practicing Data Science in an industry setting, ideally within digital media advertising or marketing analytics.
Master’s degree in a STEM field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related discipline).
Hands-on experience developing and deploying Generative AI (GenAI) models in both development and production environments.
Conceptual knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Data Management Platforms (DMPs), with practical data experience in either.
Strong SQL and Python programming skills.
Experience working in Agile environments and maintaining collaborative, scalable codebases.
Familiarity with advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in solving complex problems.
Known for integrity, reliability, and teamwork.
Nice to have: Bilingual in French and English
