Are you an experienced Solderer looking for a long-term opportunity with a reputable client? Agilus is recruiting for a Solderer in the electro-mechanical assembly industry in Ottawa, Ontario. As a Solderer, you will be responsible for soldering components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). This includes performing both SMT and Thru-hole soldering as well as mechanical assembly of boards. You will also use a microscope periodically throughout the day and solder wires of various gauges. This is an ongoing position with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position. Responsibilities: Solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) Perform SMT and Thru-hole soldering Conduct mechanical assembly of boards Handle multi-layer boards, lifting and turning them as needed Rework boards on both top and bottom Use a microscope periodically Successful candidates will have: 2+ years of experience in soldering components on circuit boards, preferred Thru-hole soldering and surface mount soldering (SMT soldering) Ability to understand visual aids and wiring lists Ability to lift 50 lbs Total compensation: $19.00 hourly 4% vacation paid out weekly Weekly pay Ongoing opportunity with a reputable client Soft skills: Strong communication This posting is for future talent planning and does not reflect a current vacancy.
