Global Network Engineering team is seeking an Associate Network Engineer to support the telephony infrastructure cloud transformation and the ongoing engineering and support. This role involves PoC, design, deploy, migration and support SIP Trunk, Webex Cloud, Oracle SBC and Cisco CUCM etc.

 

 

 

Is this role right for you?

• Gather the system information and business requirements and provide a solution design.

• Develop maintain the technical design document, Security Design Document, MoP for the migration and operation document for end user provisioning and MACDs.

• Act as an SME for telephony related projects within the Bank.

• Prepare presentation document and present to cross functional team, Architecture Review board and Technical\Knowledge sharing Forum.

• Test and validate the new software and hardware through PoC, publish it as enterprise standard via certification process.

• Implement the changes to the production system, adhere to the Bank’s change management process (work will be done outside of regular business hours).

• Assess the requirement and provide the system cost estimate to stakeholders.

• Liaise with Vendor for installation and implementation of service request.

• Implement network and voice monitoring and diagnosis tools.

• Provide diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution for system related incidents .

• On call rotation is required (typically once every 4 weeks).

• Adhere to Bank policy and consistently execute Job accountability and conduct in line with Bank culture value and policies.

 

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

• 7+ years of experience required Network/Engineering design and deployment related in a medium to large enterprise network.

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in voice or above with 5+ year work experience.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience on Cisco Webex, Cisco CUCM, Expressway, Jabber MRA, WebEx client.

• Proficient in SIP protocol, RFC standards, 5+ years of hands-on experience on Oracle SBC and EOM product line.

• 3+ years of experience on SSO (Single Sign On) and LDAP/Azure AD integration

• Knowledge on Mobile Device Management, Security Firewall, Data loss protection.

• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders up to VP level.

• Ability to provide business analysis and financial cost analysis.

• CCIE certification a plus

• Oracle SBC professional Certification is an asset

• Knowledge of compliance/regulatory requirements in Banking Sector

• Azure Cloud/AWS Cloud experience

• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions

• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction

• Excellent in time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high scale project

• Bachelor's degree in technical fields such as computer science, computer engineering or related field
