Drive production flow and planning accuracy by assessing and calibrating work-order routings (process times, resources, sequences, queue times). Partner with Production, Planning, Methods, and Analytics to surface discrepancies, validate assumptions, and guide change with clear, proactive communication. This role blends investigation, stakeholder facilitation, and concise data storytelling; you’ll translate findings into decisions and help execute controlled, large-scale updates in Oracle EBS when needed—always prioritizing accuracy, traceability, and minimal operational disruption.

Specifically, the incumbent will :

  • Understand and map how the Methods team creates and updates routings.

  • Write SQL queries to gather and validate data.

  • Build reports to share results and monitor routing health.

  • Navigate Oracle EBS and perform manual entry or controlled mass uploads for routing calibration.

  • Analyze issues to identify root causes using history, comparisons, and process knowledge.

  • Coordinate change plans and notify impacted teams before any mass changes.

The passitionate candidate we are looking for must have:

  • Strong, proactive communication (to acquire and share information)

  • Bilingual in French and English

  • Analytical mindset; structured problem-solving

  • Proficiency with SQL

  • Completed at least their 1st year of an engineering degree

Additional preferred but not mandatory assets include:

  • Experience with Power BI

  • Experience with an ERP system (Ex: Oracle EBS)

  • Experience with manufacturing  methods/routings

 

Location of the internship will be at CAE’s main site in Montreal.

The role will be carried out in person 5 days a week.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

*For all interns hired, we will reimburse the internship costs for up to $250 per intern upon presentation of supporting documents.
