Our client, a rapidly growing Canadian financial services firm, is seeking a Regional Vice President, Wealth Advisor Solutions to join their team in British Columbia. This senior relationship management role is ideal for a driven, entrepreneurial professional who thrives on building partnerships and driving growth. You’ll represent a leading provider of alternative investment products—helping financial advisors and portfolio managers deliver stronger, more diversified solutions for their clients.
This is a remote role based in BC with regular regional travel. You’ll have the autonomy to build and grow your territory while representing a trusted brand in the private investment space.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Relationship Management
Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with financial advisors, portfolio managers, and investment dealers within your assigned territory.
Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted partner for advisors exploring or using the firm’s investment solutions.
Develop and execute a territory strategy to increase assets under management and drive new business opportunities.
Advisor Education & Engagement
Educate advisors on the firm’s investment offerings through one-on-one meetings, small group sessions, and virtual or in-person events.
Deliver engaging presentations at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional gatherings to raise awareness and promote investment products.
Sales Execution & Pipeline Growth
Execute a structured outreach plan through calls, emails, social media, and in-person meetings to expand the advisor network.
Proactively identify and close business opportunities to meet or exceed regional asset growth targets.
Maintain accurate CRM records and track activity, performance, and pipeline metrics.
Regional Representation & Brand Building
Represent the firm’s brand and values with professionalism and integrity.
Build a strong presence within the BC advisor community to enhance visibility and generate referrals.
Qualifications
Education & Licensing
Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field.
Industry licensing (Mutual Fund license, Canadian Securities Course, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or relationship management experience in financial services, wealth management, or investment sales.
Proven success developing long-term relationships that result in measurable business growth.
Skilled at presenting to small and large groups in both formal and informal settings.
Skills & Attributes
Strong knowledge of investment products; familiarity with alternative investments is a plus.
Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Must be located in British Columbia and able to travel regularly within the region.
Must have a reliable, fully insured vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Compensation
Base Salary: $85,000 per year
Bonus & Commissions: Uncapped earning potential tied to performance, with first-year OTE $170,000+
