Location: Greater Toronto Area, Hybrid, primarily field-based with 1–2 days on-site as needed
Language: Strong English communication skills required, both written and spoken

About the Opportunity

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced commercial insurance professional who thrives in the field and leads from the front. You will step into a hands-on sales leadership role, guiding a team of Commercial Insurance Sales Agents while continuing to contribute personally to regional growth. Your credibility as a proven seller will be key to earning trust and driving performance across a diverse and tenured team.

Working within a large, well-established organization in the financial services sector, you will partner closely with senior leaders to execute regional strategy, expand market presence, and support local businesses across the GTA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, values measurable results, and takes pride in developing people while building meaningful client relationships.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Insurance Sales Agents across your assigned territory.

  • You will actively drive new business growth through personal sales activity, networking, and relationship building.

  • You will support both junior and senior team members by providing hands-on guidance, deal support, and accountability.

  • You will collaborate with senior leadership to execute regional sales strategies and performance goals.

  • You will monitor pipeline health, sales metrics, and market opportunities to ensure sustainable growth.


Skills and Qualifications

  • 8+ years of direct commercial insurance sales experience, with demonstrated revenue results.

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate sales professionals in a field-based environment.

  • Strong business development skills with comfort in cold calling, networking, and in-person selling.

  • Valid commercial insurance licensing are ideal (OTL, LLQP, RIBO)

  • Confidence working with sales metrics, book of business data, and performance reporting.
