Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking a Data Modeller to provide support, enhancements, programming and industry knowledge for the various SAS software tools/solutions available to the Department. In particular, the Data Modeller will update, modify and develop as required existing and new data warehouses and ETL processes, as well as perform system maintenance and implement other enhancements as necessary. .

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Updating, modifying, enhancing and/or developing new aspects of the current  data warehouse(s) and the ETL processes that load data into the data warehouse(s);
  • Writing SAS program code, SAS Macros, chron, Python and Linux scripts as required;
  • Use SAS Data Integration and SAS Studio Flow to perform tasks related to ETL development and maintenance;
  • Implementing other enhancements as necessary;
  • Any other elements applicable to the development and maintenance of the SAS solution, upon request by the Project Authority;
  • Improving performance and scalability;

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Modelling
  • Strong experience working with Big Data
  • 3+ projects working with SAS program code, ETL development an maintenance
