Altis Recruitment is seeking a Sales Director for our client, who specializes in design & build construction. In this role, you will lead the sales team in achieving and exceeding targets for renovation and custom home construction contracts, while working closely with design and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery and uphold our standards of excellence and customer satisfaction.

 

PLEASE NOTE: This role is requires you to work at different location throughout the city – Stittsville, Downtown.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve annual revenue and growth targets through effective sales strategies and performance management.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and customer-focused sales culture.
  • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, ensuring a seamless client experience from initial contact through design and construction phases.
  • Collaborate closely with design, construction, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with project capabilities and client expectations.
  • Develop and execute business development plans to expand market share, strengthen client relationships, and identify new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, referral sources, and industry stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate as a key member of the company’s leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, annual objectives, and long-term growth initiatives (3-year and 10-year targets).
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate new business.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment between sales goals, marketing strategies, and overall company objectives.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership, preferably within residential construction, real estate development, or design-build environments.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets while leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and revenue growth.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional organizational and customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems and BuilderTrend preferred.
  • Knowledge of residential construction processes, local market trends, and zoning/by-law requirements is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong presentation and proposal development skills.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is an asset.
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth and staying current with market trends and industry best practices.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
