Our client is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to provide operational support across all HR processes for their corporate People & Culture Business Partner team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for process improvement, data accuracy, and delivering an exceptional employee experience.
This is a hybrid, 6-month contract role requiring on-site work at the client's office in North Vancouver 2-3 days per week. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Coordinate and support the full range of People & Culture operations, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates, employees, and leaders.
Process employee lifecycle changes in Workday (new hires, promotions, transfers, departures, leaves, etc.), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain and audit people data to ensure accuracy and integrity across all systems and touchpoints.
Communicate updates and changes to relevant stakeholders promptly and accurately.
Contribute to onboarding activities to ensure new hires are fully equipped and supported from day one.
Partner cross-functionally with payroll, guest services, and other departments to support internal programs.
Provide administrative and operational support for P&C projects and programs as required.
Prepare people-related data and reporting to support decision-making across the team.
Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance P&C processes and documentation.
Post-secondary education and a minimum of 1 year of experience in HR, administration, or a customer service–focused operational role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and accuracy.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management.
Collaborative and adaptable, with a customer-service mindset and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Experience using Workday or similar HRIS systems is considered an asset.
