Your Role

As the Key Account Manager, reporting to the Country Manager/Senior Director of the Canadian business unit, you will be the key contact for select major OMNI Channel retailers, managing sales, promotional, and marketing initiatives across various channels.

 

Key Objectives

1) Build Relationships & Drive Performance

  • Develop direct relationships with buyers and category/marketing teams at key retail accounts
  • Become a preferred partner to key decision-makers
  • Achieve account-specific sales targets
  • Negotiate terms and conditions annually
  • Contribute to defining and implementing growth strategies by retailer
  • Increase market share and improve base sales rates
  • Collaborate with internal departments to build and execute high-ROI promotional plans
  • Optimize product mix for profitability
  • Review sales, inventory, and forecasting weekly to address stock imbalances

2) Analyze Account Performance

  • Contribute to the 18-month commercial and forecasting strategy
  • Manage and analyze customer P&L to assess the impact of key actions
  • Track sell-in and sell-out performance by brand and share insights internally
  • Regularly review and optimize online assortments per retailer and locale
  • Monitor consumer pricing to ensure compliance with local laws
  • Track competitor activity and initiatives
  • Prepare and report sales forecasts
  • Identify new growth opportunities and create actionable plans
  • Ensure execution of planned initiatives

3) Collaborate Across Teams

  • Lead coordination with internal stakeholders to optimize key accounts
  • Ensure eCommerce website content is accurate and aligned with brand standards
  • Train, mentor, and support onboarding of new team members
  • Provide weekly sales reports and projections to management
  • Take on special projects as needed (e.g., showroom setup, product sample delivery)

What You’ll Bring to the Team

This role requires an independent and motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

 

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce and OMNI channel business models
  • Experience in negotiation and managing customer P&L
  • Ability to analyze data and uncover growth opportunities
  • Excellent presentation and business proposal skills
  • Minimum 5 years managing accounts on an Amazon platform
  • Knowledge of both direct import and domestic operations
  • Experience in supply or demand planning
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, with strong multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); Power BI is a plus
  • Strong data literacy: able to navigate portals, manage budgets, and interpret performance metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Proactive problem solver with a growth mindset
  • Open to feedback and continual improvement

Additional Information

  • Hybrid work model; candidates must have a vehicle for office commute
  • Occasional travel to the U.S. (2–3 times per year) may be required
