Our client, a business law firm with offices across Canada, is looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant / Office Coordinator to join their Vancouver team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day—supporting lawyers with legal administration while also helping keep the office running smoothly. You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, initiative, and a positive, professional attitude.
Responsibilities
Prepare, edit, and format legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
Track time entries, manage unbilled time and disbursements, and help with client invoicing and account follow-up.
Support lawyers in staying organized and focused on client needs.
Take the lead on office coordination—working with vendors, ordering supplies, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Be a friendly and reliable point of contact for client inquiries and requests.
Assist with sending, receiving, and drafting documents (experience with DocuSign is a plus).
Plan office lunches, events, and team-building activities that make the workplace enjoyable and engaging.
Jump in to support the team with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Legal Administrative Assistant diploma or a university degree in a related field.
Up to 5 years of experience in an administrative or legal support role.
Organized, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
Comfortable working with technology and learning new software; experience with PC Law is an asset.
A team player who enjoys helping others and contributing to a positive office environment.
