P2: 7/7 1900-0700 rotational shift

Responsibilities for General Hospital Security Guard

• Greet visitors, check ID, and give directions
• Control access at doors and gates (staff, visitors, contractors)
• Do regular patrols inside and outside
• Keep a visible presence to deter unwanted activity
• Respond to alarms and emergencies (fire, medical, security)
• Give first aid if trained and call/coordinate with emergency services
• Use de-escalation; remove/trespass unauthorized or loitering individuals
• Watch cameras/alarms and use the radio to communicate
• Write clear daily logs and incident reports
• Protect people, property, and assets by following site rules

Qualifications for General Hospital Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Two-way radio experience
