Salary: 45,000.00

TerraHR Consulting’s client is seeking an Interior Designer who will assist in the development of design solutions, conduct research on behalf of the design team, and coordinate the design through all phases of the project.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate in conducting site surveys, managing furniture inventory, performing feasibility studies, creating concept design schematics, and researching material/furniture systems to ensure the delivery of satisfactory solutions that meet quality parameters.
Generate drawings, models, and renderings in accordance with office standards.
Organize and update the interior design library by coordinating with product representatives and consistently refreshing materials.
Prepare presentation boards and other materials for presentations.
Assist in administrative tasks related to the procurement and delivery of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Potentially aid the Client in floorplan updates using AutoCAD and perform various on-site design tasks as needed.
Engage with the facilities management personnel of institutional clients.

Qualifications:

Successfully completed relevant post-secondary education.
Proficient in Interior Design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, 3D SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft programs.
Experience in interior design and presentation with a demonstrated creative and aesthetic understanding.
Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural permits, as well as building codes.
Previous experience in project delivery, project management, and client management is required.
Superior time management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate with team members and collaborate with professionals from different disciplines.
Membership as an Intern Interior Designer with a relevant registered association is considered an asset

Salary Range: $50,000 to $70,000 (Based on experience and qualifications)
