TerraHR is seeking a skilled Architect to join our private sector client's team in a dynamic role that combines technical expertise, project management, and collaboration.

Key responsibilities and qualifications include:
 
  • Providing Technical Guidance: Offer expert advice and support to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring successful project outcomes.
 
  • Conflict Resolution: Negotiate and resolve disputes effectively, maintaining positive working relationships.
 
  • Contract Management: Oversee contracts and monitor the work of external consultants and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
 
  • Managing the Design Process: Lead the full project lifecycle, including planning, development, implementation, and close-out, while ensuring adherence to standards and regulations.
 
  • Construction Detailing and Documentation: Spearhead the creation of construction details and tender-ready contractual documents with precision and expertise.
 
  • Predevelopment Assessments: Conduct comprehensive predevelopment evaluations, including site scouting, selection, functional programming, and determining occupancy requirements.
 
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills, including delivering impactful presentations.
 
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and Revit with confidence and expertise.
 
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Excel in an environment characterized by overlapping roles and responsibilities, fostering strong collaboration between internal teams and external units.

Must be a member of l’Ordre des Architectes du Québec (OAQ) or Ontario Association of Architects (OAA).
