Our client working in Welfare Services is hiring for an communications/translation professional to join their team on a short term contract. This would be ideally working November 3rd-January 30th, working in a fully remote capacity.

We are seeking a bilingual professional to support the Healthy Relationships campaign. The contractor will review campaign materials in both English and French—including website content and tip sheets—to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across languages. A final report with recommended changes will be required.

The successful individual must be bilingual in English and French.

Key Responsibilities

• Review all English and French content for accuracy and alignment

• Identify discrepancies between translations

• Provide clear recommendations and a final report

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced bilingual skills in English and French (required)

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in English/French studies, sociology, gender studies, women’s studies, family studies, or a related field (preferred)

• Professional experience reviewing or translating English and French content

• Knowledge or background in gender-based and family violence
