Our client working in Welfare Services is hiring for an bilingual professional to join their team on a short term contract. This would be ideally working October to Jan 31st, working in a fully remote capacity.

We are seeking a bilingual contractor to develop a Family Violence Briefing for Military Families. The briefing will raise awareness, promote healthy relationships, encourage early intervention, and provide practical guidance on available military and civilian supports.

Key Deliverables

• Develop short and long versions of the Family Violence Briefing in English and French

• Create supporting materials including:

  • PowerPoint presentations with detailed slide notes

  • A full content package in Word format

  • A facilitator’s guide with instructions on safe delivery, inclusive language, and appropriate response to disclosures

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s in sociology, gender studies, women’s studies, family studies, or related field

• Experience/Knowledge:

  • Background in gender-based violence and family violence

  • Familiarity with military culture/community (preferred, not mandatory)

• Language: Advanced bilingualism (English and French)
