Cloud First - Software Engineering is a high performing team to join! We focus on client adoption of disruptive technologies, technology architecture and providing specialized skills related to integration, custom software engineering, testing, application modernization, agile and more. We help our clients with the most complex projects including working in open web platforms, DevOps platforms as well as intelligent Computing and Architecture enhancement.

The Role: You will be part of a team which implements Public and Private Cloud technologies and builds and transforms client infrastructure services. The sheer variety of work we do, and the experience it offers, provides an unbeatable platform from which to build a career. This role may either be based on a multi-client delivery center or at client sites for extended period of times when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on multiple projects as part of a wider capability team.
  • Assist clients in understanding usage scenarios for RedHat technologies.  Help develop business cases/value propositions when necessary.
  • Be responsible for managing and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) )/RedHat Openshift platform while leading migration efforts from VMware environments to Red Hat platforms.
  • Perform system administration, networking, scripting, and automation to ensure seamless transitions and efficient system operations.
  • Implement security best practices, optimize system performance, and ensure compliance with organizational policies throughout any migration process.
  • Be involved in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, monitoring system performance, and leveraging automation tools like Ansible to streamline workflows.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and ensure successful project delivery.
