Mississauga-Oakville Emergency Department are looking to welcome dependable and outgoing casual Technician Assistants to join our team. This casual opportunity includes a range of responsibilities which directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operation of the department. A few attributes and qualifications are:
Caring for our patients; feeding, walking and offering a gentle voice of assurance
Ensure animal housing or enclosure is clean, sanitary and comfortable
Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and pet parents
Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment. Gaining trust and building relationships with our Oncology clients.
General housekeeping duties
Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services and medical procedures
Compassion and nurturing attitude
Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and maintain a high quality of care in a busy environment
Working with a team focus, assisting the veterinary staff with various procedures, tasks and treatments
Drive to learn new things
Our emergency department provides thorough training to all new staff members, including a mentoring program, to ensure the success of all new team members!
