JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Program Manager, Project Management & Quality Assurance Unit, you are responsible for the development and delivery of operationally focused training, including the provision of change management advice and services to meet business and process change objectives and initiatives within Infrastructure Services. You focus on the people side of change at the operational level when it comes to the impacts of new or enhanced business processes, tools, and project and quality management systems. You also support the development and revision of business processes and create and promote any implemented changes, including communication and training requirements to minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement. You foster faster adoption of process changes, greater ultimate utilization, and a higher quality proficiency on the changes implemented, such that expected results are achieved.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of 3 years post-secondary education in a field related to business and organizational change management

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field related to business and organizational change management.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Working knowledge of change management processes
  • Knowledge of structured change management methodologies and their application in the research, evaluation and selection of change management tools and best practices 
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and their application
  • Knowledge of operational planning practices
  • Teambuilding and team management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques and practices of identifying resistance to change, performance gaps and means of overcoming such challenges
  • Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers.
  • General knowledge of adult education and training
