As a  University Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments at the University Main Campus

Responsibilities for University Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Conduct patrols with using our G-track scanning device and invetigate incidents or hazards with detailed reporting 

Qualifications for University Surveillance Security Guard

• Fluent in french and english
• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license 
• First aid certification is an asset
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
