Salary: $21.27 per hour plus 11.2% in lieu of holidays and vacation
Elections Alberta is an independent, non-partisan office of the Legislature. Elections Alberta is responsible for administering provincial elections, by-elections and referenda. Our mission is to serve Albertans as an independent election management body committed to the administration of modern, transparent, and accessible democratic processes that ensure the integrity and enhance the value of Alberta’s electoral system.
The Service Agent is responsible for providing electoral event support services in Elections Alberta’s provincial service centre in Edmonton. This includes document and record reviews, validation, numbering, sorting, and filing, making outbound telephone calls and sending emails to electors to verify information, taking inbound elector inquiry calls, and completing data verification and entry.
This role is essential in supporting key electoral event processes, and requires excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to follow processes in a timely and accurate manner, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Note: Up to 100 service agents are required beginning October 27, 2025. This is an in-person role at Elections Alberta’s head office in Edmonton. There are three shifts requiring up to 40 service agents per shift, as follows:
