As a Licensed Insurance Agent, you will be at the forefront of helping clients protect what matters most. You will provide tailored solutions across a suite of insurance products, helping Canadians build financial security and peace of mind.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospects through inbound, outbound and chat channels to uncover insurance needs and offer tailored insurance solutions, using a consultative, client-first approach.
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and performance benchmarks, including call volumes, conversion rates, and client satisfaction metrics.
  • Leverage data, lead lists, and CRM tools to develop a consistent sales pipeline and maximize conversion opportunities.
  • Educate clients on product features, benefits, and how insurance supports their overall financial goals and well-being.
  • Contribute directly to the growth of BMO Insurance by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities and supporting product adoption.
  • Stay current on BMO Insurance product offerings, market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies related to insurance advice and product recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all client interactions in accordance with compliance standards and audit requirements.
  • Champion BMO’s values and ensure a high standard of integrity and professionalism in every client interaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Damage Insurance Agent license by Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) in Quebec.
  • Bilingualism (French/English)
  • Minimum 12 months of sales experience in insurance.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative skills.
  • Tech-savvy with comfort using CRM platforms, digital tools, and virtual client engagement methods.
  • Growth mindset with a genuine passion for continuous learning and career advancement.

You’re fluent in French and English as this role provides support to clients and team members inside and/or outside the province of Quebec.

$43 200,00 - $80 300,00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
