Salary: From 80 to 120 per Hour
 

Title: Data Modeler
Duration: 9 months (with potential extension)
Start Date: October 1, 2025

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to support business reporting and advanced analytics initiatives. In this role, you will translate business information requirements into well-designed, integrated data solutions — ensuring a comprehensive, single view of enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and publish data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Establish and enforce data platform standards, including integration practices, naming conventions, reference data usage, data profiling, and metadata management.
  • Collaborate closely with business and technology subject-matter experts to create accurate and representative data models.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the Data Office, systems teams, and management regarding data models and schemas.
  • Ensure all technical designs follow architecture principles and best practices.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and acceptance of data model designs, mappings, infrastructure, and pipeline solutions.
  • Work proactively with IT and Data Office teams to identify and resolve data issues, ensuring service-level commitments are met.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire, DRIVE, SAM, and GIS data models (required).
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry knowledge (strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency with SAP Power Designer and Vaultspeed (preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of data modeling techniques and best practices.
  • Experience with data gathering, cleansing, transformation, and data vault architecture (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of physical data implementation, data strategy, and performance optimization considerations.
